I started the seeds of basil, the flowers before the seeds from the stems and store in bags to take, I have not noticed, grass seed and I am at a loss how to get to the next year will not grow to new plants, any advice to buy?

Some plants are annual and perennial plants have no idea what's going on, but you almost have to open the flower and the inside of what looks like a seed at a particular time can be logged and you can cut look, but I am not sure it will be late or not at all
